McBusted boy Danny Jones has married a Former Miss England at a low key wedding in Yorkshire.It has been revealed that the Mcfly/McBusted singer and guitarist, Danny Jones, has finally married Georgia Horsley, the model and former Miss England.
The ceremony took place on August 2nd in Old Malton, North Yorkshire with a host of celebrities attending including Ellie Goulding, Matt and Emma Willis and with members of McBusted also present.
Both Ellie Goulding and former The Voice contestant, Vicky Jones, performed at the wedding where Danny Jones’s bandmates Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter took on the role of being best men.
The couple, who have been together since 2009, announced their engagement via Twitter last July with both releasing pictures of the engagement ring. The trend of announcing engagements via social media has proven a popular route to take for celebrities from the likes of the rapper Example to singer Kelly Clarkson taking to Twitter in recent years.
The newly married couple gave exclusive rights to Hello! Magazine for the wedding photos which has also been used by celebrities in order to safeguard their privacy whilst allowing the public to view selected images of weddings and other private events.
However, the magazine is no stranger to controversy and has faced legal action for publishing unauthorised photographs, most notably the wedding of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas in 2003.
